She bounced into the office this morning where I was sitting at the computer and very abruptly asked, "Do you notice anything different about me today?" She waited with such poise and expectation. Hoping not to disappoint her I racked my brains, but still came up empty.

"No," I replied, hoping my inability to produce the desired response wouldn't upset her.
To my relief, she was forgiving this time. Without skipping a beat, she turned her head and proudly announced, "I am six and a half today. That is what is different about me."

I love this girl. Happy Half Birthday Number Two!!!
